A little line shuffling in #RedWings practice:
Fabbri-Larkin-Zadina
Ryan-Namestnikov-Mantha
Svechnikov-Rasmussen-Gagner
Helm-Glendening-Erne
Brome-Filppula-Nielsen (extras in gray jerseys)
DeKeyser-Hronek
Merrill-Stecher
Nemeth-Djoos
Cholowski-Biega

Don’t read anything into Svechnikov skating on a full line from this because that’s the way the team has been practicing the entire time. Staal’s injury might force them back into the 12/6 setup or it may just means Cholowski is back in. I don’t know if Blashill wants to use both Cholowski and Djoos though. We’ll see today.
The other interesting part is that it has looked like Mantha has been playing below his linemates and Zadina has been playing above them. This line switch seems fair.
Dan Dakich was allowed to use sexist language. Greg McDermott was allowed to say that players belong on “the plantation.” Meyers Leonard was allowed to use an anti-Semitic slur. But Hemal Jhaveri—not a white man—was just relieved of her job for critiquing white supremacy. https://t.co/hGw3EGhQRJ
