The Detroit Red Wings are the future. With players like Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider taking their first step to the NHL, it’s only a matter of time before the rest follow along. In that spirit, when guys like Jonatan Berggren, Simon Edvinsson, Sebastian Cossa, and Elmer Soderblom, the Red Wings will have some big decisions to make.

Any given NHL team is allowed 23 players on their roster and on gameday are allowed 20. No more than that. So, when these guys are ready to take the jump to the NHL, Steve Yzerman will have to make a lot of tough decisions on who get’s to stay and who doesn’t. One of the names that has been mentioned a great deal as a trade candidate if forward, Tyler Bertuzzi. But is that actually a possibility? And if so, what would the package in return look like for him?
