LATE SEASON BRUTALITY: Detroit Red Wings leading NHL in one nefarious category as season sinks

EVALUATION TIME: The outlook for Filip Zadina 4 years after the Detroit Red Wings drafted him

Game notes: Tuesday night’s game between the Red Wings and Bruins, entering tonight, the Red Wings look to stop an dramatic late-season slide that gets them closer and closer to the NHL draft lottery. Meanwhile, Boston enters the contest 8-2 in their last 10 contests.

If the Red Wings are going to break their four-game winning, they’ll have to contain the host scoring of the Bruins David Pasternak who has scored 10 points in his last 10 games. Both Calvin Pickard and Givani Smith remain day-to-day with injuries and the Wings should have Tyler Bertuzzi who had to miss the Wings last game in Ottawa due to the NHL’s COVID-19 vaccination policy.
