As was laid out in the Morning Skate, Chicago is an awful team five on five but have a very dangerous power play and an excellent penalty kill. Detroit has shown some improvements on both specialty teams units so far but tonight is not the night to try and work on it.

Find the Spark Smartly

As we have seen so far, this team tends to do better when they are emotionally into the game. Sometimes that spark has come from some extracurriculars that put the team down a man, and as already discussed keeping to even strength will be vital tonight.

Start Out Strong

This is a Chicago team struggling with confidence and a fanbase ready to run the coach out of town. A fast start by Detroit tonight could be enough to deflate any get up the Blackhawks and their fans pull together from facing their old rivals.
