Come out Flying

Dylan Larkin was all over the ice last game, and it made a major difference. He’s come on lately, and has played much better than earlier in the season. It seems likely that he wasn’t 100% even after sitting out a few games, but he looks back to what we’ve been used to now.

Take the Shot

Detroit has some forwards with fantastic shots, and sometimes they are too unselfish. Both Anthony Mantha and Filip Zadina have passed up opportunities recently where they could have shot, even though both are playing well overall. It comes from a good place (trying to be unselfish), but goal scorers gotta shoot.

Let’s Have Fun

I’m referring to the fans, not the players, although they could have fun too. Last game was fun. It’s nice to have fun games and not games we have to suffer through. I’d rather win, but even if we lose, a game that was as entertaining as last time is fine by me.
