Detroit will debut their Reverse Retro jerseys in their third game this season against Columbus. The teams split the first two, with each game ending 3-2.
Detroit is coming off a disappointing loss to Chicago. The first two periods were fine, although Detroit should have gotten more scoring with all the shots they were generating.
The third period is where the wheels fell off. Detroit opened up its game to try to generate more goals, and that led to Chicago having a series of good chances that they capitalized on.
Columbus is only four points ahead of Detroit, although they’ve played one fewer game than the Red Wings have. Tonight’s game should be a good chance for Detroit to make up for last game.
