The Detroit Red Wings are without their captain at least through the weekend.

Dylan Larkin did not make the trip to Chicago after suffering an upper-body injury. Coach Jeff Blashill said Larkin was hurt during Thursday’s game against the Nashville Predators, describing the injury as limiting Larkin’s ability to take faceoffs.

Larkin has four goals and seven assists in 22 games. The Wings are also without top-line forward Tyler Bertuzzi, who has been out since Jan. 30, also with an upper-body injury.
